During 2021 saw me designing a collection of patterns for digitally printed fabric which I am pleased to announce can now be purchased at Spoonflower, perfect for making quilts, clothing, bags and crafting projects. Spoonflower offer a vast range of quality fabrics for a wide range of uses as well as being printed on wallpaper and premade linen, tea-towels, table-runners and lots more.
Having spent the last 20 years creating a variety of tileable textures for use in my 3D modelling work it wasn’t too much of a stretch to adapt these skills to create similar designs for fabrics. This whole process also combines my interests in photography and in particular photos taken in and around Cornwall, so that gave me exactly what I needed for my first fabric collection for Spoonflower. A huge factor in choosing Spoonflower and their manufacturing process is that it is extremely eco-friendly. Traditional screen printing uses fast amounts of water, materials and chemicals, whereas, the digital print on demand has an extremely low carbon footprint.
I am really excited for this new venture and I hope you like these designs. Check out my store at https://www.spoonflower.com/profiles/predatron
